ABOUT

The Broadway Performance Hall is Seattle’s most popular medium-size theatre. Renovated as a performing arts center from Seattle’s Broadway High School in 1979, this 295-seat venue offers an intimate, professional setting for music, theatre, dance, film, seminars, lectures and more.

The Broadway Performance Hall is managed by the Broadway Management Group, a non-profit corporation. We provide a professional, multi-purpose performance venue that is accessible to artists and presenters throughout Seattle and the region. The Broadway Performance Hall is unique because it is the only medium-sized professional rental space in Seattle that can accommodate such a wide range of events, from 35MM film and video presentations to drama, dance, music, and lectures/seminars.

LOCATION: 1625 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122. Conveniently located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill business district on the northwest corner of Broadway and Pine streets, on the south end of the Seattle Central Community College campus.

ATTRACTIONS: The Broadway Performance Hall is home to performances by a wide variety of arts groups from throughout Seattle and the Northwest. The Hall averages 220 performances per year, with over 40,000 people attending. Some of the Performance Hall’s clients include: The Pat Graney Dance Company, Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle International Film Festival, Kaleidoscope Dance Company, Northwest Youth Choirs/Vocalpoint!, the Independent South Asian Film Fesitval, World Cavalcade Travel Films, Young Shakespeare Workshop, The Northwest School, The World Affairs Council, Children of the Revolution, Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Fesitval and the Decibel Festival, to name a few.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION: The Performance Hall is fully equipped technically to support the full range of events that perform here. A partial list includes a computerized light board, full complement of stage lighting equipment, Mackie sound board with a large inventory of sound equipment ( ie: mics, speakers, amps, etc..), stage masking, scrim, cyclorama, two projection screens, speakers podiums, 35 mm projectors, video and slide projection, etc. The hall is multi-media friendly, and capable of hosting satellite conferences.
